• According to the September 2020 Nintendo leak, Giovanna's nationality is Italian.
• Giovanna appears in 12 Swordplay Showdown Stages. She appears in stages 1, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20.
  • She never wears Red and Black Armor in any of her appearances.
• Even though Giovanna doesn't wear glasses, she does not use the default values for them. They are set to be blue, are one stage larger, and are moved three stages down. This could mean that she was originally planned to have glasses, but they were removed.
• In Table Tennis and Basketball, Giovanna is left-handed.
• In Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, she, along with Pierre and Mike, can be seen at Pilotwings stage. She appears to have two favorite colors: Yellow (for her helmet and shirt) and red (for her pants).
